Uh

The house is moving along nicely. The walls have been poured and the rough plumbing has been placed. Next week the slab for the basement will be poured then they will start framing. Dad figures the basement will be framed and ready by Wednesday.

Maybe by the second week of May I'll be out running wire and prepping for sheetrock.

I put the Space Ghost time-clock at the bottom of the page. It was in the way.

Another addition to the family

As you may know, I have been in the market for a mid-90's Dodge truck for some time now. Ever since I saw and heard one in Cedar City, I wanted one. That was almost three years ago.

When Lori and I got married, we knew we would have a truck. Four-wheel drive and all. I sold my little white Prizm (44 mpg) and started looking. There were no Dodges to be found, so I ended up buying an '86 Ford F350 1-ton crewcab dually. It was two-wheel drive. I knew it would be temporary, so I was OK with that.

Almost one year later, I found one. After a series of phone calls to the seller, Lori, Hattie and I headed up to Pleasent Grove, UT where we met the seller. I drove the truck around, then made and offer and bought the truck. We eventually made it home and now it sits in the driveway. The Ford is for sale.

Here is the rundown:
1992 Dodge W250 single cab 3/4 ton single rear axle
5.9L Cummins Turbo diesel intercooled
HX40/18cm2 Holset turbocharger
4" turbo-back exhaust split to dual 5" stacks- straightpipe
5-speed NV4500 transmission (upgrade from stock Getrag)
Dana 70 spicer rear limited-slip differential
3.54 rear end
trailer brake controller
gooseneck plate
Class 5 trailer hitch
Auto Meter Cobalt series EGT and boost gauges
Mickey Thompson tires
6" Skyjacker lift
220k miles

Here are some pictures from when we stopped in Payson to visit the Thaynes (where we ended up crashing for the night). I'll post a video or two later.

House

The plans are in motion. We are breaking ground tomorrow. I have added a countdown clock to the top of the page. We are currently house-sitting for a couple on a mission. They have asked use to be out by July 31. Time is ticking...

(and Space Ghost is awesome)

Some stuff

Here are some pictures and movies of baby Hattie. It's been quite the experience so far!

This is where I spent the night.

Sunbathing for the first time (trying to avoid jaundice actually)
